Navajo Ceremonial Basket also called a wedding basket in white, black and red colors, a unique 12 pyramid/point design , tightly woven in traditional manner with sumac twigs to retain such items as corn meal porridge consisting of white corn meal symbolizing the male and yellow corn meal the female during Navajo/Dine' wedding ceremonies. This basket has been used and blessed in a traditional Navajo ceremony. By studying the basket one can see the traces of the sacret ceremony. Note this basket is unique. 12" (30,5) in diameter and 1 7/8" (4,7cm) deep.
