Navajo Ceremonial Basket also called a wedding basket in white, black and red colors, a unique 8 pyramid/point design, tightly woven in traditional manner with sumac twigs to retain such items as a corn meal porridge consisting of white corn meal symbolizing the male and yellow corn meal the female during Navajo/Dine’ wedding ceremonies. This basket has been used and blessed in a traditional Navajo ceremony. By studying the basket one can see the traces of the sacred ceremony. Note this basket is unique. 10 1/4" (26cm) in diameter and 2” (5cm) deep.
